The publication serving Fox Creek, Swan Hills and Valleyview will move forward under the name Regional Press News.
The name change was made during the final stages of development to better reflect the publication’s regional scope and its focus on providing consistent coverage across multiple communities.
Publisher Valerie Winger said the updated name more accurately represents the purpose of the publication.
“Regional Press News reflects our commitment to providing reliable local coverage for the communities we serve,” she said.
The publication will feature community news, events, public notices and local business information, with an emphasis on keeping residents informed and connected.
The first edition is scheduled for release on April 28 and will be delivered as a free email edition to subscribers.
Residents in Fox Creek, Swan Hills and Valleyview are encouraged to subscribe in advance to receive the inaugural edition.
