Students in the Grade one class at St. Stephen’s School in Valleyview, marked the feast day of St. George with a fun and engaging classroom activity on April 23.
St. George, the patron saint of England, is traditionally associated with defeating a dragon. To celebrate, students took part in their own dragon-themed activity, “helping” to defeat the dragon as part of their lesson.
The interactive activity allowed students to participate in a hands-on learning experience that combined faith-based education with creativity and fun.
The celebration reflected the school’s commitment to engaging students in meaningful Catholic learning while creating a memorable classroom experience.
St. Stephen’s School shared the activity as part of its ongoing focus on faith, learning and community.
