The Simms family was recognized after winning the Swan Hills Swimming Pool Treasure Hunt, a community activity that began June 30.
Participants received a new clue each Tuesday from the Town of Swan Hills office and searched for hidden black boxes marked with pool treasure hunt labels. Clues collected throughout the event helped participants locate the final box, which was returned to the town office to claim the prize.
Jill, Foster and Spencer Simms successfully completed the hunt and were awarded a new paddle board. The Town of Swan Hills congratulated the family on their win, praising their detective skills and participation in the community event.
