A tipi was raised at the Valleyview Health Centre on Friday, June 5, with a ceremony led by Barb Goodswimmer and June Palmer.
Elders and residents from the hospital attended, along with AHS and hospital staff, EMS and first responders, Pembina Pipeline staff, and Councillor Kerri Danner.
Pembina Pipeline Corporation sponsored the event and provided a barbecue afterward.
