Students and staff at Swan Hills School took time this week to recognize and thank local school bus drivers in honour of Bus Driver Appreciation Day.
The school shared a message of gratitude, acknowledging the important role drivers play in safely transporting students each day in all types of weather and road conditions. Staff expressed appreciation for the consistency, care, and responsibility shown by the drivers throughout the school year.
A photo shared by the school captured members of the bus driving team being recognized, although it was noted that Miss Marty was missing from the group photo.
The school extended a simple but heartfelt thank-you, emphasizing how much the daily efforts of bus drivers are valued by students, families, and staff alike.
Bus Driver Appreciation Day is marked in many communities as an opportunity to highlight the essential service provided by school transportation teams, particularly in rural areas where students often travel long distances to attend school.
